unsub. is built so that we can't collect your data — not "don't", can't. There's no server for it to go to. Here's the whole picture, in plain English.
With your permission, unsub. reads your Gmail through Google's official API with read-only access. It looks for receipt, renewal, and trial emails, extracts the subscription details — service name, price, billing date — and discards everything else. It cannot send, delete, or modify email, and it never opens messages unrelated to billing patterns.
All processing happens on your device, in your browser. The subscription list unsub. builds is stored in your browser's local extension storage — nowhere else. We operate no servers, no databases, and no cloud sync. Your data cannot leak from infrastructure that doesn't exist.
Nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no cookies, no account. We can't see whether you've installed unsub., what it found, or whether you're reading this page. Pro purchases are processed by the Chrome Web Store's payment provider — we receive confirmation that a purchase happened, never your card details.
There are none in the data path. If we ever add optional features that suggest cheaper alternatives, they will be clearly labelled, off by default, and will never transmit your inbox contents. Any future referral relationship pays us from the service's side — never with your data.
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it knows, instantly — there is no account to close and no copy to chase down. You can also revoke unsub.'s Gmail access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Email privacy@unsub.app. A human reads it — analytics can't, because there aren't any. If this policy ever changes, the extension will tell you before the change applies.
